Inter League Match

LEINSTER LEAGUE		BELFAST & DISTRICT LEAGUE
	versus

The above match was held in E. S. B. Sportsco on Saturday 7th February. All the matches were played in a very sporting manner and all were very competitive. The Division 1 match went all the way, to the fifth set in the final game, which Pat O’ Brien won, and which gave Leinster victory 5 – 4. The other two Divisions weren’t quite so close but as you will see from the results there were a number of five setters. Leinster also won those matches
6 -3 and 7 -2. Thanks to all the players who made it a very enjoyable day of table tennis.
Thanks also to E.S.B. Sportsco Table Tennis Club who allowed us the use of their tables etc. It is very much appreciated. Jimmy Fleming did a great job setting it all up for us. The teams tee-shirts were sponsored by Tommy Fitzgerald and they looked very impressive all in the same colour. Tommy has agreed to sponsor the teams for the foreseeable future. Thanks Tommy.
